The team at Strathmore have been providing serviced office space in the centre of Edinburgh for over ten years. Starting with one building we have expanded to four offering both private office space and more recently co-working.

More so than ever, as we all seek to navigate new ways of working, the team here aim to provide our clients with greater flexibility within the workplace. Whether your requirement be ad-hoc desk space, a base for hybrid working, or a larger office to incorporate both traditional desk and more collaborative working set ups.

FAQs

A serviced office space is located within a managed office building or business centre. The building and offices are managed and maintained by the service provider, in this case Strathmore, and rented by individual companies who benefit from an inclusive monthly rental.

As standard our minimum lease length is 6 months, monthly rolling thereafter, and with a three month notice period. Longer terms are also available.

Yes, key fobs will allow you and your team office access at all times.

We don’t have front of house or reception services at any of our locations. Our team still work onsite and are available Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00. All offices are fitted with a visual and audio intercom system allowing guests or deliveries to easily reach you.

As flexible as the rooms allow. We’re happy to help set offices up in a way which best suits the needs of your team.

Yes, we have meeting rooms available in each of our locations. We offer a meeting room subscription package which allows your team to book as and when they might need throughout the working week (up to sixteen hours). The monthly cost would be the same each month and is dependent on the size of your company/office.

Standard office furniture (including desks, chairs and storage), WIFI and broadband, kitchen facilities, cleaning and maintenance, utilities, and the support of our onsite team.

Each of our office clients are set up on their own VLAN providing them with their own private network. You’d be provided your own secure WIFI login and we can connect ethernet ports for a wired connection too. Standard bandwidth supply is around 20mbps and this would be included within the monthly rental.

Additional costs may include the meeting room subscription package, outgoing postage, a small water rates contribution, dedicated bandwidth (if required) and, if applicable, business rates. Should you have any specific IT requests there may be an additional set up or monthly cost involved. Our team can advise further.

Business rates are not included within your office rental. The majority of our offices fall below the rateable value threshold with Edinburgh Council however we do always recommend double checking, especially if you have other business premise in Scotland. We have a small car park to the back of our York Place building. Our team can advise on the availability of spaces.

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in any of our office buildings.
